"How did you find her?" I asked Troy.

"It may take a minute but I find people." He said irritated. "My baby momma makes sure of it!" He mumbled.

Malcolm closed the door behind him, "we ready?"

"He knows that Cat is compromised he won't go there."

"We're going to make sure of that." Malcolm said deadly serious.

We got in Troy's car in silence. "Malcolm, please remember she's just a female mixed up with this fool. She doesn't know about Amber." Troy said looking at his cousin.

"He killed my child, tried to kill my Queen, I'd kill his dog if it sniffed in my direction." Malcolm said directly.

"Be cool Malcolm. Franklin wants to go in on his whole family, don't move too fast." Troy said.

"As long as Sammy is mine!" Malcolm said.

We parked on the corner across the street from Cat's place. Troy pulled out his papers and looked at the license plate on the car in the driveway. "Malcolm you stay here."

Malcolm blew air, "I'm going! I'm gonna choke the life out of her too!"

Troy looked at Malcolm, "if you ever want to get Sammy you're going to have to calm down. Stop being so emotional and think about this. Blu and I are going to go. You keep an eye out for him."

Troy and I got out of the car. It was quiet and we could hear music as we approached the door. I knocked on the door listening for how secure the door was. I could kick this door open if I needed to. "Who is it?" Cat called out.

"It's me."

She opened the door quickly, she was sweating and in her exercise clothes. "Blu?" She said with big eyes. I walked in the door with Troy right behind me. "Come in?"

"Where's your boyfriend?" I said while Troy looked around the room.

"I don't know, what's the big idea trying to out me in front of the police? Were you jealous?"

I tilted my head at her, "Jenise told me what you tried to do. I could kill you right now, this is not a social visit."

"What's wrong with you? Blu, it's me! The woman you asked to be your wife! Now you're acting like I slept with your friends and people. What did I do that was so horrible that you suddenly dropped me like I was a bad habit? We were in love."

Troy folded his arms and smiled real big like he was going to enjoy this. "Do you even hear half the things that come out of your mouth? I was rebounding from Jenise when you and I started messing around. Out of appreciation for your kindness I tolerated you gradually moving yourself in to my place. Jenise showed up with a boyfriend and what can I say, I choked. You didn't try to get to know my family, I told you, you needed to do better. You quit your job you didn't get fired. Then you speak to my wife like you did. You attempted to harm my children!"
